Manna Plus Birds

  1. So dem start to dey waka from Elim, and all di pipo of Israel wey gada con reach di desert of Sin—wey dey between Elim and Sinai, on di fifteenth day of di second month afta dem komot from di land of Egypt.
  2. And di whole pipo of Israel wey gada con dey complain against Moses plus Aaron for inside desert.

  4. Den Baba-God tell Moses sey, “See I go make bread fall from heaven like rain for una, and make di pipo go out to gada some food everi day, so dat I go confam dem, whether dem go follow di law or not.
  5. And e go happun sey on di sixth day dem go prepare wetin dem gada, and e go double wetin dem gada everi day.
  6. So Moses plus Aaron tell all di pikin of Israel sey, “Na for evening una go know sey na Baba-God carry una komot from Egypt.
  7. And for morning, una go see Baba-God levels, becos he dey hear una complains against Baba-God. Who we be wey una dey complain against us?”

  12. “I don hear di complains of all di pikin of Israel, follow dem tok sey, ‘For evening una go chop meat, and for morning una go chop bread belleful. And una go know sey I be Baba-God wey be una Oga.”

  30. So di pipo rest on di seventh day.
  31. And di pipo of Israel call am Manna. E white like coriander seed and e sweet like tin cake wey dem make wit honey.
  32. So Moses tok sey, “Dis na wetin Baba-God tok: “Make una keep two liters of dis manna, becos I want make future generations see di food wey I give una wen una dey for inside desert afta I save una from Egypt.”
  33. Moses con tell Aaron sey, “Put some manna* inside container and put am for di worship-place, make future generations see am.”
  34. Aaron do wetin Baba-God tell Moses. He put di manna inside di ark, for front of di stones wit di writings of Baba-God agreement—to keep am safe.
  35. Di pikin of Israel chop manna for forty years until dem reach land wey pipo dey, dem chop manna until dem reach di border of di land of Canaan.
