Ezekiel Chapter 2

Baba-God Call Ezekiel

1. He con tell me sey, “Man pikin, stand up and I go follow you tok.”
2. As he dey tok to me, di Spirit enta inside me, con carry me stand up, so I hear am dey follow me yarn.
3. Naso he tok sey, “Man pikin, I dey send you go meet di pipo of Israel, to nation wey no wan gree follow me and nation wey don change-am-for me. Dem plus dia papa no gree  follow me till today.
4. Di pipo wey I dey send you go meet na pipo wey get coconut-head and wey no dey gree. Tell  dem sey, ‘Dis na wetin Baba-God Almighty tok.’
5. And whether dem listen or dem no gree listen—dem be house di of pipo wey no dey follow me—dem go know sey prophet don dey wit dem.
6. And you, man-pikin, no dey fear dem or fear wetin dem dey yarn. No dey fear even though dem surround you like shuuku-shuuku plus wild flower wey sharp, and you dey live among scorpions; no fear dia words and no let your mind-cut becos of di way dia face be, even though dem be house of pipo wey dey turn against me.
7. You must follow dem tok my word, whether dem listen or dem no gree listen, becos dem be pipo wey no wan gree follow me at-all.
8. But you, oh man pikin, listen to wetin I dey tell you. No disobey like di house of dis pipo wey no wan gree follow me; open your mouth and make you chop wetin I give you.”
9. Naso I look, I con see one hand wey stretch to me. Di hand carry one book.
10. He open di book for my front. Dem write songs of sadness, cry-cry, plus wahala—for di front and back of di book.
