Di Tall-House of Babel

1. Now di whole world con dey speak one language, and di  same yarnings.

3. And dem follow demsef tok sey, “Come make we make blocks, con bake dem well-well.” So dem use blocks instead of stones, and tar instead of mortar.
4. Dem con tok sey, “Come make we build city for awasef—wit tall-house wey go reach heaven, so dat we go make name for awasef, and so dat we no go  scata for everi where for di earth.”
5. Baba-God con come down to see dia city and di tall- house wey di pikin of men dey build.
6. Baba-God con tok sey, “See, if dis pipo start to dey do dis tin as one pipo, and all of dem get one language, dat mean sey notin wey dem plan wey dem no go fit do.
7. Come make we go down to cos katakata for dia language, so dat dem no go fit understand demsef.”
8. So Baba-God scata dem from there—put for everi where for di earth, and dem stop to dey build di city.
9. Nahin make dem call am Babel, becos na for there  Baba-God take cos katakata for di language of di whole world, and Baba-God scata dem from there go  everi where for di earth.

11. Na dis be di generations of Shem. Shem na hundred years wen he born Arphaxad, two years afta di big-water wey cover di earth.

12. Afta Shem Born Arphaxad he live for five hundred years, and he born boys and girls.

13. So Arphaxad live for thirty five years, con born Salah:

14. Afta Arphaxad born Salah, he live for four hundred and three years, and he born boys plus girls.

15. And Salah live for thirty years, con born Eber.

16. Afta Salah born Eber, he live for four hundred and  three years, and he born boys plus girls.

17. Eber live for thirty four years, con born Peleg:

18. And Eber live for four hundred and thirty years afta  he born Peleg. And Eber born boys plus girls.

19. Peleg live for thirty years, con born Reu:

20. Afta Peleg born Reu, he live for two hundred and nine  years, and he born sons plus daughters.

21. Reu live for thirty two years, con born Serug:

22. Afta Reu born Serug, he live for two hundred and seven years, and he born sons plus daughters.

23. Serug live for thirty years, con born Nahor:

24. Afta Serug born Nahor, he live for two hundred years and he born sons and daughters.

27. Wen Terah be seventy years, he con born Abram, Nahor, and Haran.

28. Now, na dis be di generations of Terah: Terah born Abram, Nahor plus Haran; and Haran con born Lot.

30. Abram and Nahor con marry women: Abram wife name na, “Sarai; and Nahor wife name na, “Milcah,” na she be di daughter of Haran—di papa of Milcah, and di fada of Iscah.
