  1. Oh Baba-God, no yari for me me wen you dey pkara or correct me wen you dey
    vex.
  2. Your arrows don shuuk me, and your hand don press me down.
  3. I no well becos you dey vex for me; my bone dey weak becos of my sins.
  4. The bad tins wey I do dey pinch my mind, like load wey too heavy for me to
    carry.
  5. My wound dey bad more-more and e dey irritate me.
  6. I don bow down and my level don over low; I dey cry everi day.
  7. My back full wit serious pain; my health dey very poor.
  8. I no get power and I even don dey give up; I dey cry inside my heart wit pain.
  9. You know everitin wey I want, Oh Baba-God; I no dey hide even my hiss from
    you.
  10. My mind dey do gbim-gbim, strenght no dey again; even di light don comot
    from my eyes.
  11. My padi and pipo dey fashi me becos of my wound; my neighbors dey run
    from me.
  12. Pipo wey want dey fyne my life dey set trap for me, those pipo wey wan
    wound me dey yarn as dem go take fall my hand; everiday dem they plan dia
    mago-mago.
  13. I be like deaf man wey no dey hear word; like sey dem cut my tongue comot,
    and I no fit open my mouth;
  14. I don trun to man wey no fit hear, wey to fit use hin mouth ansa pesin.
  15. I dey wait for you, O Baba-God, you go ansa me, Oh Baba-God.
  16. Naso I sey, “Make you no let dem laff me or make-mouth wen I dror-fall.”
  17. I go soon fall and my pain always dey my body.
  18. I confess my bad-bad-sins; my sins dey give me wahala.
  19. My serious enemies plenty, those pipo wey hate for no reason burku.
  20. Those pipo wey dey pay my good wit evil, dey tok bad tins for my back wen I
    try to progress.
  21. O Baba-God, no fashi me; no dey far from me Oh Baba-God.
  22. Pkapkapka come epp me, Oh my savior.
