- Oh Baba-God, no yari for me me wen you dey pkara or correct me wen you dey
vex. - Your arrows don shuuk me, and your hand don press me down.

from my eyes. - My padi and pipo dey fashi me becos of my wound; my neighbors dey run
from me. - Pipo wey want dey fyne my life dey set trap for me, those pipo wey wan
wound me dey yarn as dem go take fall my hand; everiday dem they plan dia
mago-mago. - I be like deaf man wey no dey hear word; like sey dem cut my tongue comot,
and I no fit open my mouth; - I don trun to man wey no fit hear, wey to fit use hin mouth ansa pesin.
- I dey wait for you, O Baba-God, you go ansa me, Oh Baba-God.
- Naso I sey, “Make you no let dem laff me or make-mouth wen I dror-fall.”
- I go soon fall and my pain always dey my body.
- I confess my bad-bad-sins; my sins dey give me wahala.
- My serious enemies plenty, those pipo wey hate for no reason burku.
- Those pipo wey dey pay my good wit evil, dey tok bad tins for my back wen I
try to progress. - O Baba-God, no fashi me; no dey far from me Oh Baba-God.
