O Lord my God, na for your side I dey hide my head put; save and deliver me
from those pipo wey dey pursue me,
or dem go tear my body like lion con cut my body like meat and nobody go fit
save me.
Oh Lord my God, if I don do dis and my hand no clean—
if I do bad tin to pesin wey no find my trouble or go rob my enemy for no
reason—
So make my enemy pursue me con catch me; make dem match my life for
ground con make me sleep for dust.
Standup God-Baba as you dey pkara. Standup make you change am for my
enemies as dem dey pkara. Wakeup my God; declear your justice.
Make di pipo wey gather—make dem round you. Rule dem from above;
Make Baba-God judge di pipo. Judge Oh God, based-on my good name, Oh
most high.
Oh righteous God wey dey see everi-pesin mind and heart, stop di violence of
wicked pipo and protect your pikin.
My guard na Baba-God most High wey dey pipo wey get clean heart.
Baba-God na righteous judge, God wey dey pkara everiday.
He no slack, he go sharp hin sword, con set hin bow.
He don arrange hin bad-bad weapons; he don set hin arrow wey get faya.
Pesin wey carry badbelle like woman wey get belle go born disappointment.
Pesin wey dig pit con dey pack di sand come outside go fall inside the pit wey
he dig.
Di wahala wey he start go tie am like rope; he go use hin head carry di
violence.
I go thank Baba-God becos he dey righteous and I go sing praise to hin name
of di Lord most High.
