1. Dis na prayer of David. Oh Baba-God, bend your ear to hear me; becos I be poor pesin, and I need epp.

6. Hear my prayer, Oh Baba-God, hear my voice wey dey ask from you.

8. Among di gods, no one be like you Baba-God; no-pesin fit do di tins wey you don do.
9. All di nations wey you don make—go come worship for your front, oh Baba-God,
   and dem go give your name levels.
10. You too big, and you dey do ogbonge tins; na only you be Baba-God.
11. Oh Baba-God, teach me your ways, and I go waka inside your truth; give me one mind, so dat I go fear your name.
12. Oh Baba-God my Oga, I go praise you wit all my heart. I go give your name levels forever.
13. You dey sorry-for me well- well. You don free me from grave.
14. Oh Baba-God, pipo wey dey make-mouth dey fight me; and plenty wicked men dey fyne my life—men wey no dey reason you.
15. But you, Oh Baba-God, you be God wey brekete wit kindness plus grace, you no dey quick vex, you dey sorry-for pesin well-well, and your truth brekete.
16. Turn look my face, and make you sorry for me; give your pawa to your servant, and save me becos I dey serve you just like my mama serve you.
17. Show me sign of your goodness, so dat shame go catch my enemies wen dem see am; becos you oh God, na you don epp me—con cool me down
