A Prayer For Freedom
- Dis na song of rising. I call on Baba-God for inside my palava, and he hear me.
2. Oh Baba-God, save me from pipo wey dey tok lie, and save me from wayo tongue.
3. Chai wayo mouth, wetin you go receive, or wetin Baba-God go do you?
4. Sharp arrow of warrior, plus coals of broom tree!
5. Kasala for me, if I stay for Mesech, sey I dey live among di tents of Kedar!
6. E don too tey wey I dey stay wit pipo wey no like peace.
7. I be man of peace; but wen I tok, dem wan fight me.
