Hear My Prayer

  1. Dis na Psalm of David. Oh Baba-God, hear my prayers, listen to my cry for mercy; ansa me inside your goodness and faithfulness.

2. No judge your servant, no-pesin for dis life dey good for your eyes.

3. Di enemy don show me pepper, he don nack me for ground; he make me stay for darkness like pipo wey don kpeme tey-tey.

4. So my spirit inside me don taya, and palava dey for my heart.

5. I remember olden days; I dey meditate on all your works, and I dey reason everitin wey your hand don make.

6. I carry my hands give you, my soul wan drink you like dry land wan drink water.

7. Oh Baba-God, ansa me kiakia, my spirit don dey give up. No hide your face from me, or I go be like those wey dey go down to grave.

8. Allow me hear your soft-love for morning. Na you I dey trust. Show me where you wan make I go, I don carry my soul give you.

9. Oh Baba-God, save me from my enemies, I dey hide my head inside you.

10. Teach me how to do wetin you wan make I do, na you be my God, your spirit dey good, carry me go ground wey level.

11. Ginger me, oh Baba-God—becos of your name, carry my soul komot from inside wahala—becos of your goodness.

12. Silence all my enemies becos you dey sorry-for me. Scata all di pipo wey dey wahala my life—becos I be your servant.
