Baba-God wit no shaking. - Test me, Oh Baba-God, try me. Look inside my heart and mind,
- your love always dey for me, and I dey always waka inside you truth.
- I no dey sidon wit men wey dey do mago-mago. I no dey follow fake-pipo waka;
- I dey vex for pipo wey dey do bad. And I no fit sidon wit badbelle pipo.
- I wash my hand becos I dey inoccent, and I dey waka round your altar Oh Baba-
God, - dey shout your parise and tok about your wonderful handwork.
- I like where you dey stay, Oh Baba-God, for where your glory dey.
- No carry my soul comot wit sinners, or my life wit men wey like blood,
- wey evil plan dey dia hand, wey dia right hand full wit egunje.
- But my life no get errot; save me and make you sorry for me.
- My leg dey stand for ground wey level; for front of your plenty pikin nahin I go
