Deuteronomy Chapter 18

  Offering For Di Priests Plus Di Levites

1. Di priests wey be Levites, even di whole tribe of Levi—go get no share from di property of Israel. Di  offerings wey pipo dey make to Baba-God wit faya nahin go be dia share—na dat one belong to dem.
2. Dem go get no property among dia brodas; na Baba-God be dia own—just as he promise dem.
3. Dis na di share wey di priests suppose get from di pipo wey dey sacrifice malu or sheep: di shoulder, plus di two jaws and di belle.
4. Una go give dem di firstfruit of una seeds, new wine  and ororo, and di first wool wey una get wen una komot di hair from una sheep,
5. Becos Baba-God una Oga don choose dem wit dia  pikin-pikin-pikin—out of all di tribes to stand and always serve wit Baba-God Name.
6. If Levite komot from one of una towns for any where  for Israel where he dey live, to di place wey Baba-God choose for worship;
7. He fit serve wit di Name of Baba-God hin Oga—just  like hin fellow Levites wey dey serve for there, for Baba-God front.
8. He suppose follow dem share di same portion of di sacrifices plus offerings, even if he dey receive moni from hin family property wey dem sell.

      Tins Wey Be Tufiakwa

11. Make no pesin dey among una wey dey sacrifice hin  pikin for faya, or wey dey read pipo future, or do jazz, or witch [kpians],

12. or pesin wey dey do otumorkpor, or pesin wey dey  tok to dead pipo, or pipo wey dey tok to spirits.

13. All di pipo wey dey do dis kain tins na tufiakwa for Baba-God; becos of all dis kain tufiakwa nahin make  Baba-God go pursue dem komot from una front. Una must dey wit-out error for Baba-God eyes.

New Prophet Like Moses

13. Di nations wey una go pursue komot, dey listen to those pipo wey dey do otumorkpor and jazz. But as  for una, Baba-God una Oga no allow una to do those kain tins.

But any prophet wey dey tok lie wit my name—wen I  no send am, or tok wit di name of oda gods, dat

prophet must die.”

• And if una tok for inside una heart sey, “How we go  take sabi sey no be Baba-God tok di message?”
• If wetin prophet tok wit Baba-God no happun, dat  one na message wey Baba-God no send am. Dat prophet don tok anyhow, no be wit my pawa—so  make no pesin fear am.
